Courtesy Call on FRSC Commander
The Executive Committee of Ndigbo Cultural Forum Asaba led by the chairman, Chinedu Obodo, on Tuesday, 27th July, 2021 paid a courtesy call on the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Sector Commander for Delta State, Corps Commander Patrick Okoyeocha at the FRSC State Headquarters, Asaba.
Amongst other things, the Ndigbo delegation stressed the need for effective collaboration between the association and the FRSC. We also asked that the issue of traffic gridlock at the Niger Bridge be looked into.
The FRSC commander, who incidentally is from Awka and happens to be the first FRSC Asaba Sector Commander from the South East, promised to give Ndigbo Cultural Forum Asaba all the cooperation that we need. He asked for a synergy between the two groups to tackle the issue of the traffic jam at the Niger Bridge.
